IIJ Mobile
Internet Initiative Japan Inc., joined the ranks of MVNOs in January 2008 though the launch of its enterprise-class high-speed mobile data communications service. While continuing to promote the integration of mobile communications with corporate networks, IIJ expanded into the machine-to-machine (M2M) communications field in 2009 with the introduction of mobile lines optimised for M2M modules. This enabled IIJ clients to connect a wide range of devices to their networks in addition to computers, such as vending machines, surveillance systems, and sensor-based measuring devices. IIJ also entered the MVNE sector, providing support for companies newly entering the MVNO industry. IIJ Mobile is a Mobile Data Communications Service providing comprehensive solutions for businesses employing mobile broadband. IIJ offers the additional data card lineups on the own mobile service. ILJ Mobile Type D using NTT DoCoMo FOMA high-speed network at 7.2Mbps and ILJ Mobile Type E using eMOBILE at speeds of 7.2Mbps which is slightly less than Type D. ILJ is a a member of the Telecom Services Association of Japan (MVNO Council).

Infonikkusu Ltd. aka Inphonix is an MVNE whose strength is in business acceleration for MVNOs, where it is easier to add value than it is with the data cards which is currently the man focus for Japanese MVNOs. Inphonix has created a competitive and realistic business model in terms of its knowledge and experience of the MVNO business, the systems that it owns, the proposed MVNE projects that it is promoting and the positive relationships that it has developed with telecommunications carriers. By using this service, companies that are considering becoming MVNOs can launch telecommunications businesses with less risk and less overheads.
