Sydney, Australia,-– Pactera Technology International Limited (NASDAQ: PACT), the world’s largest China-based global IT services and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider today announced it has been selected to implement and support Infonova’s R6 ‘concept-to-cash’ virtual network enabler (VNE) platform at iTelecom Wholesale (iTW), Australia’s leading wholesale only communications aggregator and iVNE to Service Providers and Brands.
The Infonova R6 platform will underpin the iVNE offering and enable iTW customers’ to monetise new services, business models and content and to deliver a comprehensive customer experience to their end users. The iVNE operation will support real multi-tenant concept-to-cash operations for fully convergent billing & customer care and complex cross-industry business models while also supporting Telco 2.0 simultaneously.
The platform has been specifically designed to be technology and service agnostic and offers comprehensive service bundling; enabling iTW’s customers to configure, bundle and price any technology or service – such as traditional telco services including fixed-line, broadband, VoIP and mobile services with new services such as Cloud (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS), IPTV, CDN – and their own industry offerings, such as media content, insurance, banking & finance, product distribution, water, gas and power via one platform and make these services available to multiple channels with a short time-to-market.
As part of the agreement, Pactera will provide ongoing technical support to iTelecom Wholesale, including deployment of the Infonova R6 platform, establishment and continual innovation of the business capabilities around the market differentiated iVNE offerings, and end-to-end operations support – leveraging Pactera’s extensive local and international teams and experience in communications industry technology and operations.
The platform will initially support prepaid and postpaid mobile services utilising parts of the Telstra 3G Network as well as fixed-line, ADSL and the National Broadband Network (NBN) services.
