Leading American Tier 1 Banks Deploy Truphone Mobile Recording to Achieve Dodd-Frank Compliance

Truphone extends international call recording service to US financial institutions in time for March 31 regulatory compliance deadline.

New York, NY.: Truphone – the global mobile network today announced that is has won significant contracts with two major US financial institutions for its Truphone Mobile Recording service. The service has been purchased to enable financial institutions to comply with the mobile call recording requirements from the Dodd-Frank legislation, which mandates that financial institutions record certain electronic communication and phone calls, and maintain necessary audit trails.

Unlike application-based solutions, Truphone’s solution is network based, so users have a completely normal mobile phone user experience – even when operating internationally.

Adoption of Truphone Mobile Recording is a simple process and the service works with full mobile number portability – so there is no need for new phone numbers or disrupting standard mobile phone functions, such as voicemail.

The solution channels all relevant communications to a highly resilient cloud-based storage and retrieval system. Truphone also offers on-site recording integration for organisations that prefer to consign information to their existing recording environments.
