Cellpak News: OVIVO Case Study
“As a new Mobile Virtual Network Operator, OVIVO sought a trusted logistics partner that could ensure we delivered SIM cards to our customers in the most cost efficient manner. That meant a partner who could work with us on flexible packaging solutions, ensure timely delivery and work with us as we grow. Careful management of costs for any start-up business, was and is constantly critical to our success .” Using Cellpak’s Sim-Centric managed inventory system, the Cellpak team worked closely with OVIVO & Cognatel to scope and build an integrated managed service solution that not only supported OVIVO Mobile’s distinctive Sim packaging requirements but was scalable, offering fully managed ‘Packed Sim’ inventory and efficient ‘Direct to customer’ managed Sim distribution.
This ensured that while OVIVO‘s Sim cards were packaged, stored and distributed from Cellpak’s secure facility, the OVIVO team could concentrate on launching and marketing their mobile brand, safe in the knowledge that Cellpak would manage the supply chain; processing orders, picking, packing & delivering Sim’s within 2 working days.
This has the continued advantage of allowing OVIVO to avoid the costs associated with traditional Sim distribution and pass those savings directly on to its customers.
