German telco & MVNO Tele2 offers online discount for Web & Fon Premium
Tele2 Germany said it is offering a long-term discount to customers who sign up for its Web & Fon Premium service online, cutting the monthly subscription to € 24.95 from € 27.95 for 24 months. The offer runs until 31 March. The mobile network-based service provides unlimited calls to German fixed lines and unlimited surfing. There is a one-off charge of € 9.95 for a Tele2 box, which needs to be plugged in to an electric socket and which connects to PCs or laptops by WLAN.Tele2 is also offering its Fon Familie phone-only service in its web shop. This, too, uses the mobile network. There are three tariffs, namely Fon Klassik, Fon Komfort and Fon Komfort XL. Fon Klassik costs € 12.95 per month, Komfort costs € 19.95 and Komfort XL costs € 29.95. Calls to German landlines cost from € 0.02 per minute with Klassik but are included with the other two services. Calls to mobile cost from € 0.25 for Klassik and Komfort but are included with Komfort XL.
