UPC Romania is taking into consideration an entry into the local mobile market through the launch of a MVNO, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing UPC Romania general manager Severina Pascu. She was speaking during a telecom industry event held in the capital Bucharest. Pascu said the operator has a MVNO project but cannot yet say when the launch will take place. At present, the operator is focusing on the provision of mobility services at the household level and will later on make the step towards the next level, Pascu added. UPC Romania posted a revenue of RON 223 million for H1, up 2.6 percent year-on-year
