The Swedish Electronic Communications Act (2003:389) imple- ments the European regulatory framework for Electronic Commu- nications Networks and Services, which consists of the Framework Directive (2002/21/EC), the Authorisation Directive (2002/20/EC), the Access Directive (2002/19/EC), the Universal Service Directive (2002/22/EC) and the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Commu- nications (2002/58/EC).
