Mobile network testing specialist Keynote Sigos has signed an agreement with UK-based international MVNO Lycamobile.Lycamobile has selected Keynote Sigos’ Site test system, an integrated hardware and software system, to enable Lycamobile to monitor the quality of service from its customers’ perspective.
Site will support Lycamobile in implementing new services as well as in the maintenance of existing ones at a peak quality level.
The test system will initially be implemented in ten countries for intra-country testing (UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Australia and India) but there are plans to roll out to more test locations in the near future as Lycamobile’s business continues to grow.
Site combines multiple technologies, such as SIM Card multiplexing, GSM over-the-air testing and core network interfaces.
Lycamobile is also using Keynote Sigos GlobalRoamer to check that all of Lycamobile’s services are available to its roaming customers worldwide.
GlobalRoamer grants Lycamobile access to test and monitor performance in 225 locations in over 170 countries, with access to more than 550 networks worldwide.
Keynote SIGOS provides scalable and fully integratable telecommunications testing solutions to service network operators (mobile and fixed line as well as MVNOs) and content providers, carriers and regulators.
