Spanish portal Movilonia and MVNO Ortel Mobile, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPN, have jointly launched a prepay service dubbed ¡Hola, mundo!. For € 10, customers can take up the ¡Hola, mundo! service, which includes a SIM card with € 20 airtime for international calls. Customers will be able to make international calls at prices starting at 3.5 eurocents per minute, as well as access mobile data services at € 0.08 per MB.
Additionally, SIM ¡Hola, mundo! service users will receive 500 minutes per month for calls to Ortel numbers in Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.
Customers who exceed this limit will be charged €0.106 (VAT included) per additional minute. The call set-up fee is €0.248 for national calls and €0.25 for international calls.
The SIM ¡Hola, mundo! package can be acquired exclusively via the Movilonia web portal until 31 October.
SIM ¡Hola, mundo! can also top up their account at Ortel Mobile’s web page and authorized retailers.
