On October 31, 2011 Polish MVNO GaduAIR, which is owned by GG Network Management will cease its operations according to a statement posted on its website. This decision was made in reference to the previously announced changes in GaduAIR strategy.
In relation to the announced changes to the draft strategy, GG Network Management has decided to terminate the provision of mobile services for GaduAIR on 31 October 2011.
This decision is dictated by the inability to fully achieve the objectives established by the company. This is mainly due to the current structure of the Polish mobile phone market, which is significantly hindering the success for independent MVNOs operators, although the MVNOs are offering very attractive conditions.
GaduAIR will terminate the service in accordance with the applicable Telecommunications Regulations and Guidelines for Services, and basic conditions for the MVNO will be maintained and unchanged until 10/31/2011.
All customers have the opportunity to transfer their number to another mobile operator or can make a request for reimbursement of unused funds. Detailed information and procedures are available on the website www.gaduair.pl and or by contacting Customer Service.
GG Networks initially launched the MVNO Service ‘GaduAIR’ in May 2009. The service operates as a virtual mobile operator (MVNO) based on the underlying MNO Plus network.
Termination of services means that all remaining telephone numbers in the network after the date of 31.10.2011 will stop working and customers can not use them after this date.
