This evening, a new UK MVNO “Dalya Mobile” which has support from a Middle Eastern Company will be having its official launch party in South Kensington with invitations sent out to all the distributors in the Market.Its pitch is;
“Dalya Mobile is a mobile Pay as you go SIM service that will serve the Middle East Diasporas living in UK. Understanding the value in keeping touch with their loved ones in Arab region, Dalya mobile offers low cost calling rate for Middle Eastern countries from your mobile.”
Dalya mobile is an MVNO operation based on a Vodafone’s GSM Mobile network operator, with the widest coverage in UK.
The MVNO has opt’d for a price driven USP MODEL, which is virtually the same as its sister MVNO Dialog Vizz with some difference; Rates of; 1p are offered the following fixed line destinations = Bahrain, China, Germany, India, Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, Romania, Thailand, Turkey or Iraq Mobile at 7p to Mobile, Saudi Arabia is priced at 4p for landline, and 8p for Mobile and Iran fixed at 5p, and Iran Mobile at 8p.
In addition to its standard rates, Dalya has launched its initial offer of 300 free minutes per month to 40 Landline destinations, as long as the customer maintains a balance of £1 and use’s 10 free minutes p/day.
Destinations included in this offer are; Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, UAE & Yemen in the middle east, or Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Ghana, Greece, Haiti, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, Uganda and Venezuela.
For local calls; Dalya to Dalya is priced at £0.00 for fixed & mobile, while UK National Calls is rated at £0.05 and Mobile, Voicemail & 0500/800 is priced at £0.10 while 08x/05x is rated at £0.30 + 10MB free of data p/day or £0.15 p/MB
We have been informed that the new MVNO is using Vodafone’s network, and QiComm is providing the wholesale termination and we suspect that Cognatel is the MVNA.
QiComm has a commitment to provide the wholesale airtime to its customers and they are using QiComm’s strategic path to use Cognatel’s MVNA solution, which may prove to be a win-win situation.
Another interesting development is that QiComm is currently in negotiations with various Carriers throughout the world, and potentially it has scheduled a another new MVNO for a Carribean Carrier who wants to launch a white label MVNO in the UK.
When comparing the rates to its sister MVNO, Dialog Vizz offer’s virtually the same tariff bundles, except without the main emphasis of the Middle East; 300 free minutes per month to 40 Landline destinations, as long as the customer maintains a balance of £2.00 and use’s 10 free minutes p/day.
Destinations included in this offer are; Australia, Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Rep, Egypt, Estonia, Ghana, Greece, Haiti, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, Uganda and Venezuela.
