Caesars World Communications (CWC), a subsidiary company of wholesaler Annecto telecom launched its own branded MVNO SIMFINITI. In addition to its own MVNO, CWC announces two other MVNOs; QQMobile & FreedomTalk which use its MVNA/E solution.
Two months ago Annecto Telecom soft launched its new UK Based MVNO SIMFINITI and is the crown jewel for Caesars World Communications (CWC). I must admit, we at PrepaidMVNO had no idea that SIMFINITI even existed as had forgotten that its Parent Company Annecto Telecom did sign an MVNA/O/E agreement with UK’s 3G Network back in 2009.
Annecto Telecom is an International Wholesale Carrier Company which provides total outsourced solutions including wholesale voice aggregation, voice termination, retail services and managed switching, billing and IVR solutions. Recently Annecto were in the news when they chose DIGITALK’s SBC VoIP Peering application – a highly scalable and robust, end-to-end solution for international VoIP wholesale services, based on DIGITALK’s Session Border Controller.
To its credit, CWC/Annecto has been keeping a low profile, as they have been evaluating the market and have been updating its infrastructure and hardware. Today however that all changes.
Annecto have formally announced that they have signed two MVNO agreements, with the first being QQMobile which is Live, and the second, Freedom Talk which will be live tomorrow. We covered the introduction of a Freedom Talk a few days back, and we were critical that another ethnic focused MVNO would be introduced to the market, however on reviewing FreedomTalk we did like its Data Bundle.
SIMFINITI Overview
SIMFINITI is a new PrePaid MVNO that offers 3G services and is the crown jewel for CWC. Simfiniti offers its customers various bundles with slight differences;
- The SIMFINITI Ultimate seems to be a total package
- The SIMFINITI World is its bundle for customers who want to make international calls with rates; India £0.03, Pakistan £0.06, Bangladesh £0.045, Ghana £0.18, Nigeria £0.09, Australia £0.04, USA £0.04, South Africa £0.05, China £0.035
- The SIMFINITI Connect provides customers with Unlimited Internet for £5 a month and charges customers for UK Calls – £0.05 | UK SMS – £0.06.
- The SIMFINITI United charges customers for calls to the UK Mobile £0.09 , or UK Landline £0.05 and UK SMS £0.06
- The SIMFINITI Lite charges customers for calls to the UK Mobile £0.10, or UK Landline £0.05 and UK SMS £0.07

SIMFINITI offers an interesting rate comparison tool with similar rates as its competitors with a focus on Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Ghana, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, UK, UAE and the USA. As with the latest VAS, SIMFINITI has created a cross promotion program by bundling Kalixa Prepaid Mastercard. Should customers purchase a Kalixa prepaid credit card and a Simfiniti SIM in one transaction they will be rewarded with a £10 credit on each service. Other Promo’s offered by SIMFINITI is a free iPAD for customers who enter the email, and various other rewards.

QQMobile Overview;QQMobile is a new MVNO which was launched in February, 2011 and uses CWC’s MVNA/E solutions.
Not much information is available on this MVNO, however looking at its retail site, we can see that they offer standard PAY-Go Rates and have three main bundles or “starterpacks”; Silver, Gold or Platinum.
Interestingly, QQMobile allows its customers to use IM platforms, QQ Mesenger, Facebook Messenger & MSN. From what we understand this is a private MVNO predominately based in China Town.
Their Standard Rates for calls are; UK Fixed = £0.05 , UK Mobile = £0.09, SMS = £0.09, Data = £0.08/MB and Voicemail is billed at £0.09
The Silver starterpack costs £ 11.99, and the Gold costs £ 21.99 while the Platinum starterpack costs £ 31.99.
- Top up £10 and get £12 credit to use on any call or text you want to make. Call your friends or family on their QQmobile number and get 150 free On-Net minutes of talk time. Use the internet from your QQmobile 3G handset and get 15MB of data free every day for 28 days.

- Top up £30 and get £40 credit to use on any call or text you want to make. Call your friends or family on their QQmobile number and get 450 free On-Net minutes of talk time. Use the internet from your QQmobile 3G handset and get 15MB of data free every day for 28 days.
In addition to its bundles, QQMobile offers various competitive destinations (some fixed, or mobile) at £0.00, subject to a setup fee of £0.20 or £0.25. These destinations are China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, USA and Vietnam.
